Cameron's personal stance is that he loves torturing to death foxes.
Not only has he been humiliated, it also shows how pathetically weak the Tory majority is when a few Tory rebels come into play.

Re: Vote to overturn Foxhunting ban
I don't know what Cameron's personal stance on this is, but he probably has to stand by his promise to allow a vote. Why he gave that promise was an obvious sop to the hunters.

Personally, I can't believe why anyone would want to kill anything for sport. That kind of stuff belongs in the past with tiger hunts and the like. As for providing jobs for the people who look after the horses and hounds, surely they can find another quarry - what about Chavs?

To be honest this issue should not have been on any political agenda for several years. There are much more pressing issues to address.

Yeah like widescale poisoning of Foxes in rural England... although probably cause it's not a load of hoo hars on horseback it's not quite as glamorous to wave a plackard about...

Obviously said in context to Dursleys argument.

Most people would agree there is a sliding scale of what is cruel and what is less cruel. If you're going to be an absolutist/puritan then make sure you're a vegan that doesn't eat crops that are machine harvested, otherwise it'd be curious that the moral imperative ends exactly where your eating habits start.

apparently meat eaters smell to vegetarians

You aint wrong.

I once heard that the Chinese said that Westerners small like Cheese, as they dont really use Dairy, they find it quite an obvious and unpleasant smell.

I can tell you for a Fact, that the less Animal product you use, the less stronger BO you put out and you can easily spot/smell someone who has a High Animal based diet...they Stink, but as that is most people, it dont get noticed.

Re: Vote to overturn Foxhunting ban
Manor,

Fair enough if anyone wants to be vegetarian, I respect that. I'm far too busy to research what would be a healthy vegetarian diet though, because a balanced diet of both meat and veg is the natural one, which is why you don't need to put too much effort into making sure you get it right.

I'll tell you what though, if you WHOmail me a week's vegetarian diet that will be easy for me to sort out, I'll give it a go.
